Anthropologist and versatile trumpeter, arranger and band leader, Robbe Bey Latré is the founding father of re#encounter. Developing a unique sound on trumpet/FX in projects as NAFT and M.CHUZI, he is above all an assembler and channel of collective energy.

As leader (maâlem) of gnawa roots group Black Koyo, Brussels' most prolific ambassador of Moroccan gnawa music. Probably the most open-minded maâlem of his generation, Hicham has an impressive record of collaboration across musical genres and traditions.

Rooted in South American shamanic traditions and cumbia through projects such as Indios Beta and AMAWA, Paula's enchanting voice is one of a kind, especially in combination with her solid electric bass groove.

Unique is such an overused word, but the only way to describe Kaito's incredibly powerful energy and griot spirit. Becoming one of the most adventurous and gripping voices in Brussels, Kaito blesses projects such as Avalanche Kaito, The Sound of Brussels Orchestra and his own solo work.

Bolstered by intensive training with Brussels-based rhythmic overlord Stéphane Galland, with whom she worked and works as a flute player in projects such as LNDNxBXL Interplay and KANDA, Lúcia is thé rising star in the Brussels jazz scene.

Probably the most rhythmically versatile drummer and percussionist of his generation, Falk is as no other lectured in afro-diasporic grooves and features in renowned projects such as Echoes of Zoo, Trance Plantations, Compro Oro and Sylvie Kreusch.
